Has anyone made the move from an Investment Banking Analyst role, say at a middle market firm working in healthcare/tech/consumer, to an Acquisitions Analyst role at a REIT or REPE shop, or a Capital Markets role at one of the big brokerage houses (CBRE, JLL, etc.)? Did a brief search on WSO and didn't find much.

Youre better off in IBD than CM at a brokerage house imo. Alot of Acquisitions roles are taken by former bankers.
Have you seen Acquisitions roles taken by former bankers from across the range of coverage groups, as opposed to just REIB?
IB to REPE happens a lot. you probably dont want to move to brokerage though
