London REPE hours
Hi,
Any insights on REPE hours in London shops? In Mega-funds but especially in middle-market REPE funds.

It depends
50-60 at most core funds, 60-90 at most opportunistic funds and 90+ at bx and starwood (in acq)
Typically 9am-(6-8)pm. Little to no weekend work but depends on deal flow. High amount of deals with tight deadlines will leave you with longer hours and possibly some weekend work. To be honest, it's all team dependant. If you have seniors with twitchy fingers they will want too much sensitivities and analysis, if you have actual real estate guys running the deal, you'll not have that much number crunching to do

Not from London but culturally London is very North American from a WLB perspective, people work hard. I'd imagine anything you see on her with regards to hours in the US is going to be roughly in line.

VicAsset (the one running acq and am for OCM RE deals) is mostly doing 9am - 8pm and rarely all night.
