Masters in RE then MBA?
Is there any point in doing a Masters in Real Estate in a 1 or 2 year program then doing an MBA down the line if you want to stay in the real estate industry? Assuming you get into a top tier MBA, would the network and name be useful when you move up and start sourcing deals? Alternatively, if you wanted out of real estate, would you almost be forced to do an MBA to rebrand? Curious on any thoughts, thanks.
MBA is all about the internship and brand. Masters doesn't get you that internship.
Yes if you want out of real estate you definitely need the MBA to get the other type of internship and re-brand.
Depends on your goals. If you want to work in corporate america your whole life, sure go get all the degress you want and they should be correlated to stronger pay raises/network.
