Not in the industry, so take my advice with a grain of salt. Albeit in a situation with a lot of parallels. 

Have you truly pushed yourself to network, and see what else is out there for you right now? 

With 7 years experience, it's probably a bit of an awkward time to lose out on income and do a full time masters program. And then try to find a role with a proper senior comp package. 

Also, I think Canada's economy is a bit different/worse than the US for people coming out of grad programs. I just don't really think the payoff is there for MBAs, etc in our country. 

All that being said, I'd probably really consider how much the program would cost you (financially and otherwise), and then think if there's any way you could get to where you want to go without the expensive degree.
