Meridian vs M&M
I understand both focus on the middle market and are 100% commission but which would you go with? I like brokerage and want to make a career out of it, so exit opps don’t worry me too much. Also don’t care about doing institutional level deals.

Meridian is Debt focused and M&M is Investment Sales focused.
With that said, I would chose Meridian. But only if I had a gun to my head and had absolutely no other choice.

You should be more specific on team/office if you want actual good advice. M&M’s Brooklyn Multifamily office crushes but there are others in NYC that are mediocre at best. Certain teams at Meridian NYC are stellar while others are just fine.
Yes, so it is Marcus Brooklyn Multifamily office. Meridian is their retail leasing team.
No knowledge on Meridian’s retail leasing team but I’m sure either team would be great and provide great learning opportunities. Would advise a NYC local to chime in (@pudding aren’t you in NYC)? Also helps to think through which product type is most interesting to you, Multifamily vs. retail.
