MF Development Sponsor Due Diligence Checklist

Anybody have any insight, or a checklist, for due diligence into a development sponsor they'd be willing to share? Our shop is looking for "the right questions to ask" when vetting a development sponsor (from the perspective of the JV equity). We're specifically MF, but I'm sure this vetting process would be applicable for most asset types.

I looked though historical posts and couldn't find this particular topic, but if I missed it please point me in that direction.

Thanks in advance.

I have googled this topic quite a bit and found some value but most of the information seems to be skimming the surface. I'm basically asking for insight on the most important questions or items to vet in a development sponsor that wouldn't show up on the generic checklists found on google.
