Modelling Test - 1 Hour
Hi,
I have a one hour modelling test for a SA acquisitions analyst position. Anyone have any input or experience regarding what may be required of me? Given it's 1 hour i hope not too much...

I have a modeling test I took for a REPE firm. It is pretty extensive so if you can finish it in an hour you will be golden. PM me and I will send it to you.
damn, only an hour. how dynamic and how many things do they expect you to include? amort table, tenants list etc?
A 1 hour modelling test was all the information I received.
I'm thinking it may in fact be more of just a case study - and they just worded it weirdly - as 1 hour is extremely short.
I have seen an insane exam from starwood. 1 pdf page full of assumptions with crazy varying escalations etc. You had 50 minutes!!! Impossible, the just wanted to see the candidates fail
Almost certainly will just be build simple cash flows with inflators, down to NOI, maybe an amortizing loan, calculate returns, make sensies. You can knock that out in less than an hour with decent formatting if you have a bit of practice under your belt.
