Monthly Rent Schedule
I am attempting to build a dynamic revenue row for an apartment rent roll that uses dates to calculate monthly rent revenues and increases. Conceptually this is pretty straightforward but I am having a hard time figuring it out.
I need to have a formula that will return the current rent if the expiration date has not occurred and return a future rent if a date has occurred.
For instance
Unit 1 is currently $520, Rent Expiration 02/28/2021, Upon expiration Unit 1 is $575
Rent on 02/01/2021: $520
Rent on 03/01/2021: $575
.
Sounds like you could either write a nested if statement with your date parameters or preferably build a table with the monthly unit rents for whatever time period your looking at and then run an index match to pull the value at X date
