Been looking at firms in DC and would be interested in learning more about monument realty and their reputation.

Is this for a development or acq/AM role? They work on creative projects but I know a couple of deals where they might've lost money.
They are relatively active in DC. The city awarded Monument a high profile site in NoMa because they offered to provide 40% affordable housing. No other developer could figure out how to make the economics work. Still curious how they were able to make it pencil...
Small team, do some interesting projects but their deal flow is pretty light. They have not recruited particularly strongly in the last 5-10 years. IMO having your CEO publicly agree to go on a garbage Bravo reality TV show is pretty telling.
