Mortgage to PE
Fairly new to the industry with only one year of experience. I took a student-managed real estate investment fund at my local university this past semester and really enjoyed analyzing deals, understanding the JV and waterfall. I think PERE is my target in NYC. I’m currently in a SE city and finishing up a graduate certificate in RE. I’m 30 fwiw.
I am considering doing a summer internship with Colliers Mortgage and wanted to know how I could use this experience to get into PERE. Or, how to position myself to land a job in PERE.
