MSRE worth it

Analyst coming up on 1 year in acquisitions at a owner/operator. Our deal team is super lean, so while it’s my first job out of college I’ve gotten a lot of live deal experience already. It’s a good shop but naturally I’m starting to think about my next move in 1-2 years as my firm doesn’t pay well and had a question- worth it to do an MSRE? I hold an accounting degree from a crappy UG (think SUNY level) and while real estate isn’t as prestige obsessed as Wall Street I can tell people aren’t overtly impressed with my academic credentials. I’ve flagged it as something that could hold me back.

Would it add credibility if I stacked a more prestigious school on top of my undergrad with an MSRE? I know MBA is better resume builder but if I’m already working on transactions I don’t know if basically taking two years off to come back to the same role is worth it.
