Net Lease REIT Exit Ops
I work for a Net Lease REIT in acquisitions. This is my first job out of college, decent pay, awesome work culture/bosses. However, thinking about exit ops gets me a little worried. I feel like I will have good experience, especially starting my career on the acquisitions side, but I don't want my career to be pigeon-hold into being a specialist in Net Lease. The deals are pretty similar, and gets a little redundant. What could possible exit ops look like coming from a Net Lease REIT?
Also curious to how my career salary progression should look like? In a secondary market (Dallas, Phoenix, ATL, Charlotte) I started off at 60k and 10% bonus. I would like to continue my career in acquisitions and ultimately end up in a REPE or development shop. If anyone has any insight on this it would be extremely appreciated.
For acquisitions? With a degree? YOE?

Acquisitions isn't rocket science, idk if it really makes a difference that you're in net lease to start. At some point you should figure out what niche you want to be in and move in that direction, but the process and skills are the same across the board.
