I find the idea of buying a plot of land and developing it into a flourishing city with great planning and beautiful communities to be fascinating.

Is the US too developed at this point to replicate Bren's path of building a coastal area from the dirt up?
Aka... is there any coastal (or not) land that is available in the US (in a naturally beautiful location) that is or will be for sale and ripe for development?
