Hi everyone, What are everyone’s thoughts of Northmarq and their investment analyst role? Debt and equity specifically. Is this a solid role? Didn’t hear much about them. And how is there investment sales side? Also anyone know how to get ahold of Maria.

Good company. They have good debt teams, with some doing more institutional business than others. The majority of managing directors in their offices do pretty well.
If you can land a analyst gig on the debt & equity side it’d be a great place to start. That office does a good amount of agency lending business.

lol she has a track record of ghosting people and I’ve heard even if you followup multiple times you probably won’t get a response either.
Good team in the agency space as that's the people I know there. They are coming up fast. They crushed it on Fannie compared to last year when many felt the fallout of Meridian leaving the brokered space since they didn't have exposure. That tells me they are expanding correctly in growth, as I know they aren't hiring a ton, so growth plus lean teams mean good room for growth internally and you'll learn a lot. They are doing pretty well with Freddie as well and are trying to get a hold of the FHA side.
My only thing is I heard they pay on the lower end and you really need to fight for your salary increases and to be paid accordingly to counterparts.
