here is a copy of e-mail from an admission officer about Fall'17 application notification.

"An admissions decision will be rendered on an application with all materials submitted (unofficial or official documents) typically within 2-6 weeks after the review process begins. Please be mindful that this time frame is not from the date you submit your application, it is from the date it is considered complete for review when all documents have been received. All decisions are sent directly to the applicant via email once finalized. We appreciate your patience during this time. If you have applied close to the final deadline date, please note decisions will be rendered before the term begins"

Thanks Notoriety. I see this on my admissions dashboard "ALL REQUIRED OFFICIAL MATERIALS FOR YOUR APPLICATION HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. NO ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDED FOR US TO BEGIN A REVIEW OF YOUR APPLICATION. WE WILL CONTACT YOU IF ADDITIONAL MATERIALS ARE NEEDED." But I guess, for us-who are applying for fall, "review" does not begin now even if our app is complete. So, the way I am looking at it is we will hear back only in March (per their website which said fall applicants will hear in March if app is completed by Feb 1st)
