NYU MSRE/MSRED Preferences.

QUESTION FOR CURRENT NYU STUDENTS, ALLUMNI, AND EMPLOYEES!

For those who have experience with NYU's Admissions Department, good or bad, please hear me out...

I am a Senior FIU Construction Management Student, 22 y/o Latino, and have 1 year of full-time construction management work experience in Miami with a prestigious general contractor  (JMA).

I plan to apply to both NYU's MSRE & MSRED Programs. I am currently debating between the following two options:

1.) Taking an additional class (18 credits total) and obtaining a 3.39 GPA.

Or...

2.) Completing WSP's 20+ hour Real Estate Financial Modeling Certificate while taking one class less (15 credits total) and obtaining a 3.30 GPA.

Assuming you were me, which option would best secures your chances of getting accepted into NYU's MSRE/MSRED, if you were to apply this semester?
