Partner And Co-Investing For Developers
Hi All- I am new to the forum And have really enjoyed the content. I currently work for a large firm but I am planning on moving over to development at some point and one question I have is regarding partnership and co-investing opportunities for analysts (or higher).
Is it normal to have an opportunity to buy into development projects?
Do companies like TCC, Tishman, or Hines offer partnership opportunities? Or Co-Investing opportunities?
Even if you don’t know for sure, curious to know what everyone has heard. Not sure if this is something common in the industry.
It certainly exists, but the level at which you are allowed to do it (such an analyst vs. associate vs. vice president vs. director vs. managing director) varies wildly from company to company, and even sometimes deal to deal.
