RE Asset Management to RE Corporate Banking?
Currently have ~5 years of real estate equity (and some debt) asset management experience and am an associate at a large institutional investor. Been thinking about the possibility of transitioning into a different type of real estate role and came across a corporate banking associate role at RBC Capital Markets.
Any thoughts on making this type of transition? Would asset management experience translate well? Secondly, any thoughts on RBC Capital Markets specifically, or corporate banking culture in general?
Bump
Probably better to go ask on the banking side, my guess would be that general project management skills would be, but beyond that no (unless you need to do some research into the RE sector).
