RE Jobs that are less in the desk?

Does this exist? I love the aspect of real estate that it's transaction-based, client-related, involves lots of parties, and solves puzzles by working towards a goal that involves executing quickly. Is there anything like this that is not just brokerage or originations as an analyst/associate? Or should I keep dreaming?

I feel like CRE development could meet most of the criteria besides getting deals done quickly

With what you described, I really can't think of anything other than brokerage. Most brokerage roles are able to move through several different deals quickly since brokers have none of the risk from any holding in a property.

If it's the aspect of being able to have deal variety in general, shops on the smaller side vs institutional houses might be able to better offer you that. At a smaller shop there are more deals that you can pencil and execute in a shorter period, whereas institutional houses are only going to look at deals of a large enough size and bigger deals often take longer to complete, so focus might be on a very select few deals.
