If you want to learn about REPE and you’re at the point where you need a PRIMER!!!!! Then literally anything you read about real estate will help you learn

There isn’t a condensed article where you can learn everything you need to know about REPE before your first round interview. You just start reading anything and everything about real estate you can find and eventually shit will start to make sense.

Also some sap on this site will prob drop you some links

OP: Check our Adventures in CRE to learn how to model. Be familiar with the capital stack, know recent deals that are done (read on Commercial Observer and The Real Deal), and know the typical metrics for hurdle rates (IRR sand Equity Multiple). Knowing how to model a waterfall scenario will be useful and may be expected.
