I’ve been seeing a lot of firms posting in-house capital markets roles lately. Seems like a good place to be given the high rate environment if you have an interest in real estate debt. My question is do capital markets people get carry down the line? I’ve really only heard of ACQ/AM professionals getting carry down the line (obviously PM’s also get carry). If anyone has any first hand or second hand info that would be really great to hear!
