Real Estate Data Analytics Boot Camps?

Hi WSO Community,

I’m looking for recommendations for a high-quality real estate data analytics course to enhance my skill set. Specifically, I’d like a course that provides hands-on training in:

  • Analyzing real estate market trends (e.g., rent growth, absorption rates, demographic shifts).
  • Data visualization techniques for communicating insights to stakeholders (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Excel dashboards).
  • Using real estate financial modeling tools with an emphasis on value-add and opportunistic strategies.
  • GIS mapping and spatial analysis for site selection and development opportunities.
  • Incorporating publicly available datasets (e.g., CoStar, REIS, or county assessor data) into investment decision-making.
  • Integrating machine learning or predictive modeling techniques into real estate data analytics.

I’d appreciate courses that are practical and ideally cater to someone in real estate private equity or acquisitions, but I’m open to broader real estate applications.

Any online courses, university programs, or specific bootcamps you’ve tried and found effective? Also, if you’ve taken a course that helped you stand out professionally, I’d love to hear about it.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
