Real Estate internships in Dallas/Houston

Has anyone completed any internships in Dallas/Houston/Austin in Real Estate as an undergrad? I'm looking for opportunities for this summer as a Junior from a Big 12 school and can't find many connections or firms with official intern programs here in Texas

Opportunities in Texas for RE are plentiful, you just need to know where to look. I suggest looking more towards Houston, the market has been fairly resilient here and alot of construction going on. However, in regards to structured programs for interns I am not aware of any. You may be better off finding firms and just cold-calling/emailing.

Houston and Dallas and both booming. You should first try your schools job board then download the indeed.com application and have it email you the results that match your search criteria. Also, I would get on linkedin and see what alumnus have careers in your field and cold call or message them about your interests.

TeddyTheBearWasn't aware of TCR being a large company, but yes Hines is massive and they most likely have some positions.
Do you mean Trammell Crow Residential? They are definitely a 'large company,' at least in my opinion.

TCRC, TCC, Trammel Crow Family Holdings, and Trammel Crows daughters company - Billingsley are all big companies.

I worked as an intern my senior year for one of the large special servicers in Dallas. As previous posts have cited, the Dallas/Houston areas are great spots for RE and have alot of opportunities. Not sure what field of RE interests you but def check out your schools job boards or go directly to the companies website for job postings.
