Real Estate Valuation/Advisory within a Consulting Firm?
Any insight on working in the RE valuation/advisory group of a consulating firm? How does this compare to more traditional RE roles discussed on WSO (brokerage, acquisitions/AM)?
It's an appraisal role. Nothing untraditional about it.
Just a different career path and different focus. Early on though a new hire would be doing a lot of market analysis and data gathering so there's probably some overlap with other jobs, but as you progress the day to day obviously diverges.
