REPE Lateral Options
Curious if there's a lateral timeline for REPE? Doesn't seem to fit in either within on-cycle or off-cycle. I've been working at Ares/ Bain/ Oaktree for a year now and wish to lateral. Any inputs highly appreciated!!

To answer your question though, no, there’s no timeline. Hiring is as-needed. There might be some on cycle opps but they mostly hire investment bankers

From the grapevine, I’ve heard the hours are tough and it’s not as high-paying of a place relative to the others listed. Still a good shop. Just wouldn’t put it next to Oaktree, Fortress, Bain, etc
