REPE move to London?

All,

I am 2 years out of school, Associate at a REPE shop in a major US city doing acquisitions and mezz originations. Went to top 5 college (which would probably not be recognized well in Europe). Grew up in a european country and speak an EU language fluently.

My question is if anyone has experience making a move from US REPE to London REPE? My european background probably gives me a leg up, but wondering if the scene is substantially different, comp is substantially different, any other thoughts you guys have. What is the best way to pursue this path?
