REPE out of UG advice or Exit Opps

Hi, I'm currently a Junior right now at a non-target and extremely interested in going into a top REPE shop in the future (Starwood, BX, Brookfield, KKR). This summer I am in a valuations position at a subsidiary of a top REPE shop (think of the ones I mentioned before). I would love to get some advice on positions I should look for out of college to eventually exit into a top REPE shop. Or things I can start doing to at least have a small chance of landing one of those positions out of UG.

I go to a state school and part of their multi-million dollar REPE fund that we have if that makes any difference.
