REPE Recruiting and Headhunters

I’m currently starting a role as an acquisitions analyst at a large AM. However, I’m really interested in eventually moving to REPE when the time is right.

I was wondering if anyone has an idea of when I should begin networking, how to do so without feeling scummy, and how to get ahold of headhunters? Thanks.

Why? You’re already in an acq seat at a firm I’m guessing has discretionary capital. As long as pay isn’t horrendous and hours aren’t regularly over 70, what’s the point? You only going to be doing the same things for maybe 20-30% more pay that’s negated by the additionally stress and hours worked.

Just my opinion as a senior analyst at a pere ranked firm
