REPE SA Modeling Tests
do firms issue modeling tests to undergrads for REPE SA positions? currently recruiting for SA 27 and confident in my modeling, but info about a lot of these processes is opaque online and idk anyone else recruiting for RE
In some form yes, how extensive depends on the firm.
It’s just as how banks expect you to run thru technicals when interviewing for a IB summer analyst position.
very uncommon for internships. IB summer analysts don't give 3 statement modeling tests, but they do ask technicals in the interviews. for REPE, know your technicals cold and be prepared to discuss what an Index Match, SUMIF, etc is
It's usually pretty rare for a shop to have a modeling test for summer analyst positions. They will grill you on technicals though.
Most of the time if you ask whoever does your first round interview what the process should look like/what you should expect, they'll let you know.
