REPE to REIB
If one were to theoretically work at a small REPE and get exposure to the entire deal process (I.e. UW, IC Presentation, Capital Raise, Acquisition, Asset management etc.) with multiple different property types, would this make them more of an attractive candidate to a REIB (Eastdil)?
If not, what skills/exposure must one have in order to transition to this type of role 2-3 years removed from undergrad?
