Great group that has been around for a long time. They have pension fund money along with large international investors that they concentrate on for sale products along with multifamily & BTR. They are institutional but run small & lean which allows them to make quick decisions without too many cooks in the kitchen. The bread and butter for them is ground up development with large regional home builders or some of the top multifamily developers(think Alliance, Greystar, Mill Creek, Legacy, etc).  They are one of the best institutional LP's to do business with if you're a GP because they won't get into your business and let you deliver what you promised.

If they have an analyst/associate position posted then I'm assuming they want someone with experience who can hit the ground running since they are a lean shop. If the position isn't posted any more and you qualify I'd recommend messaging some of their folks on LinkedIn and putting your resume in the pile that way.

I see the position was posted about a month ago and they are looking for a Senior Analyst. Are you already an associate on your resume/title? That could be the case as to why they didn't contact you after looking at your resume. Looks like 33 people applied to it according to Linkedin.

I'm just making an assumption but because you applied with an associate title they probably thought it wasn't worth the conversation since you'd expect a higher pay than a senior analyst position. But could be other things as well(proximity to the office, experience, etc).
