Resume help - transitioning from development to investment management?

I'm a bit late in updating my resume, but I'm seeing some opportunities that I am qualified for and appeal to me on the investment management side of the business. I currently work in development as a 2nd year analyst.

There are a couple private equity openings I am seriously considering, but in order to give myself the greatest chance, I need to tailor my resume and present my work experience in a manner that will make me the most attractive.

What's the best way to go about this? Unfortunately, I don't have anyone in my network close enough who has made this transition.
