I've noticed lately that GLP Capital partners has been hiring a decent amount in Santa Monica (in the past few months to year). Most senior-level folks seem to be all Blackstone people and they've hired a few former IB analysts on as associates. Also, they are in the same LA office as Blackstone, but on a different floor.
Does anyone have insight to what they're working on or what this new structure is for GLP? Is it completely separate from Blackstone? Are they separately raising capital? Did a google search and came up empty.
