Retail Value Add Acquisitions
Has anyone been active in the retail space lately, either from an underwriting or capital markets perspective?
Trying to get a handle on institutional capital appetite for the space lately. Obviously power centers / malls are a no go for the majority, but seems to be some potential in certain strip center retail assets, particularly given supply backdrop and e-commerce resistance amongst necessity retail.
Also if anyone has an idea on what a typical LP/GP waterfall would look like on retail deals, much appreciated.
