Reverse Recruiters?

Does anyone know of any reverse recruiters that specifically cover CRE? Basically a recruiter personal to you that helps you find job opportunities. If anyone knows anyone off hand that covers this in major markets (i.e., NYC), please let me know. Thanks

I second this sentiment. Was recently working with a recruiter, went through several interviews, met CEO and senior leadership, background check, checked references, discussed salary & equity I would accept. Last week in the process recruiter stated they were considering me and one other candidate but kept telling me they were optimistic it was going to go my way. Last day had a convo that it was decision day and I may receive an offer over the weekend. Got a regret email from the recruiter later that day, they couldn't even take the time to follow up with a call. You're just a means to an end for them to get paid. Honestly it was one of the most thorough recruiters I've worked with, but once you're of no use to them they drop you and move on.

Also to add, people pay for college, career coaching, leadership coaching, resume writing, certificates and certifications, etc. why not cut the bullshit and pay for a recruiter? Probably would be highest value dollar spent in the process.

And watch what happens if you get an offer from a firm they represent, but then use that to obtain a different offer or a raise from your current employer. They instantly switch from being your best friend to seething with anger at you, and it goes without saying that they will do nothing to help you in that effort. An agent who actually represented you would be indifferent between those outcomes and happy to work on any of them.
