Rising Junior Recruitment Timeline

I am a rising junior at a non-target and was wondering what the recruitment timeline will look like going forward for summer ‘27. For some context I am going into a solid sophomore internship in NYC with a mid-market REPE fund. I was wondering what the timeline for recruiting will look like going forward. I know a lot of the MFs have closed apps and have their analyst classes but what are the best funds to target that haven’t and when are they expected to open. I am also open to most opportunities within CRE (ie. Investment sales, cap markets, lending, …) but my career goals and resume more align with REPE and institutional investment management.
