Sharky, my company looked at one of their deals a couple years ago. As far as I know they have several offices. Which office are you talking about? And out of curiosity, what do you think of them resp. what position are you interviewing at?

And how was it? don't you have any additional/general info?

I'm talking about a position in Spain for investments in spain-portugal. Haven't talked to them directly, only to the headhunter who is supposed to get back soon.

As far as I know: - opportunistic shop specialized in alternatives (student houses, elderly houses, logistics, high luxury resorts, etc.) - founded by an ex-MS in 2002, they're the owners of the famous Nido student house in London - in Spain there are only 3 people (1MD and 2VPs), which is not something I extremely like, might be too small team. - also, i've taken a look at the people on their website, and they don't seem to have extraordinary CVs... should I be skeptical about this? Cheers

My close friend who works in Blackstone Real Estate PE says they have a strong reputation. They just recruited one of his colleagues.

I used to work there as an intern previously, in the Berlin office. This was about 3 years ago when they were still establishing a presence in the Spain area.

When I worked there, they had solid professionals and a great work atmosphere. Laid-back, friendly and good hours. No reason to be skeptical- they have a good reputation in the European market. They've worked on some big deals and have professionals with impressive pedigree in IB/RE.

Out of curiosity, are you being headhunted for a junior role or a more senior, managerial one?

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions you want a little more detail on.

Hello,

I am interviewing for an Analyst position at Round Hill Capital this week. Do you have any tips or questions from your interview that you could help me out with? Thanks!

In general, curious how one would get an interview at a place like this (also think other REPE/investment shops) that don't ever post jobs on Indeed or Select Leaders. Round Hill has a generic email to submit your resume, but do people actually get a call back after submitting a resume? Are these the types of shops everyone gushes about getting into and needing to have that defined top-tier undergrad --> top 5 MBA --> BB IB --> mega fund?

Seems headhunters, networking, or the company poaching/recruiting is the reasonable explanation but I'd love to be wrong if there is a secret to landing a gig.

Currently interviewing for the London office, happy to hear insights

Yes i know about the liquidation and the frightening reviews on Glassdoor (:

Thanks

If you are aware of the reviews on Glassdoor, especially the reviews relating to liquidation + pay (which I beleive may be credible as I've heard the same directly from people who were previously employed there) why would you want to work there? If it's your first client side gig, I understand but if you're already client side , wait for another opportunity
