Round Hill capital (UK)

Hi,

Anyone has knowledge of Round Hill Capital (UK team)? I heard they recently did a big restructuring and reading the reviews on Glassdoor the view of the firm is highly negative

Any info on:

  • culture
  • hours?
  • Pay?
  • Career progression?

Full disclosure: I am personally undergoing the selection process (yes, I am desperate).

Leaving jokes aside, it's quite a complicated place. As you know it went under a restructuring process where they laid off half of the staff. I am still finding a bit strange that they are looking for an acquisition analyst in this specific market environment.

From what I understood the salary is okayish (c. 60k + c. 30% bonus). No idea on the reputation - they used to be a good name in the living sector (they had JVs with KKR/TPG/CPP) but I don't know how much things have changed following recent events.

Unless you've no other opportunities wouldn't consider it. Even before their current issues they didn't have a good name, i.e. bidding on things and then trying to get the funding in place if they got it. Overlay on that an administration despite having plenty of recurring management fees coming in from stabilized investments and really makes you ask how the hell was that place managed if they had to let that many people go. If it's just an internship and you've nothing else take it, but wouldn't consider it for full-time.
