Seniors losing full time offers?
Heard of a few seniors at an ivy lose there full time positions at repe funds, curious if this is widespread or no?

everyone going to a hotel at my school lost their job
A hospitality focused fund or working at the actual property level?
A lot more of property level but have seen maybe 2 that lost CRE positions (small funds)
Yeah I can confirm this. Seems like this week and last were big weeks for layoffs. Also seeing incoming first years get pushed back to November/December.
Starting FT for a multifamily developer in July, still have my offer but may have to work remotely for 3-4 days a week. My colleagues going into REPE all still have their FT offers. Kids who don't have offers lined up are getting screwed because every firm has frozen hiring efforts.
Which funds?
REPE MF. HR reached out to confirm start date and offer still the same.
What other options are graduating seniors considering? Virtual internships? More school? Different industry?
