Should I check in between summer internships?
I'm currently a junior - I had an internship this past summer and received a return offer for this upcoming summer. How would you advise I go about checking in with the people I have relationships with? Should I give them an update on how classes are going or do they not care? Separately, would it be appropriate to ask if they've heard anything regarding whether the internship this summer will be remote or in person? Or should that question be directed to HR/talent development only?

They probably don't care about your classes, but if you have a return offer, they clearly care about you. Email your boss or whomever, set up a phone call, and catch up - during which you can ask the questions you have.
