Should I take it?
I have an opportunity to interview within Wells Fargo's Commerical Real Estate group with the REIT team. I am debating whether to take the interview. Is this the same as EastDil, and how would the career prospects be afterwards?

Career Resources
Not at all like Eastdil.
What's the role? What level of seniority (I'm assuming analyst)?
Do you have a job currently? If the answer is no, and you want to be in CRE, there is literally ZERO reason you shouldn't be chasing like hell after this. It's not Eastdil, but it gives you a solid resume bullet and experience moving forward.
WF is still solid even if it's not Eastdil. If i had no job, like the above, I'd interview anywhere and everywhere respectable.
So I am neutral on whether I want to work in real estate. Worked in Investment Banking at a top shop my junior year summer (This past summer) and this interview came across my radar. It would be an analyst job within Wells Fargo's Financial Analyst Program. If I did it, I would want to be able to have the opportunity to go into Real Estate Asset Management afterwards, or go to a real estate development company.
You would most likely be able to exit into any of those positions after ~3 years in the WF FAP.
