Applied to some Investment analyst position with some single family investor. Asked me to come in for interview but haven't responded yet because I realized they literally just buy homes, renovate, and lease them out. Not sure how you can stabilize sufficient cash flow and run a large company. Waste of time?

I'd at least chat with the dude. He could be a pretty sophisticated operator, or a complete idiot. You won't know until you meet him.
Even then, I'm not sure what experience I would get out of it. If they were a ground up home builder I would be incredibly interested but I don't believe they are.
