Small Market Investment Sales at Large CRE Brokerages

Currently doing investment sales at one of the large firms (CBRE, C&W, Newmark, Colliers) on a team primarily focused on small market deals/clients ($2MM-$10MM). I have to say, it's been pretty bland and soul-sucking. Team wants me to call property owners relentlessly with no real training or emphasis on anything else. I feel like a used car salesman most of the times.

Do other teams at the firms mentioned above who focus in the small market run their teams the same way?

I don't mind doing investment sales but I was hoping to get some more analytical training/experience, especially since it's a larger firm. Starting to feel like I won't ever achieve that here.

Very similiar boat and extremely similiar role. Feels like a quarter of my role is actually analytical and interesting. The rest is endless cold calling and even if there is an analytical component it's predominately just an income valuation.

Hard to stay motivated doing that, especially in this market where owners get thousands of calls.
