Brand name firm and you'll get good experience but very tough culture (and not worth the pay).
How much do they pay for analysts or associates?
They pay well but not as good as Starwood/BX/etc.
No one pays as well as Starwood or Blackstone. And you really can’t / shouldn’t compare. Those companies are anomalies. And since I can count on one hand the number of firms that pay like blackstone and Starwood, the question is, does Square Mile (or any other firm) pay market keeping in mind that blackstone / Starwood don’t set the market - they pay above it. I always find it useless when people say “I don’t Blackstone money” because most of us don’t. As we move up in our careers, we may begin making a whole lot more, but for analysts / associates, they beat market.
This thread should answer most of your questions. Everything mentioned still holds true. Great shop. Lots of big complicated deal flow. And you’ll work like a dog.
