Is this for a first job out of UG or first job in CRE? If so, this is totally a legit good placement. If you want to move to originations or whatever, this position is as good as any. Underwriting debt requires an understanding of the entire deal, the ability to model the deal, analyze the borrower/sponsor, and know the terms/structure of the debt. In short, you learn a lot.

Further, if it is at any of the names you list or ones like it, you will have TONS of ability to move around if you feel the end. Congrats on the offer!!!
