Starwood Capital Asset Management Interview
Hey all-
Got a 30 min phone interview with an Associate on their Asset Management team. Position is in SF. Here's what I assume: questions about background, why real estate, why Starwood, walk me through resume, some basic RE technicals like explain a cap rate, walk me through DCF, explain NOI, explain a JV, etc. Any suggestions or things to look out for?
.
I doubt you'll get "what is an NOI?" for an associate-level role, or at least I hope not. I would be more prepared for the "how have you personally made an impact" or "explain a time you had to do X" type of questions.
Okay thank you. Yeah I applied for an Analyst role and an Associate is interviewing me.
Would be interested to hear what was actually asked whenever the call occurs. Did you apply online or through contact of yours?
I was contacted through a recruiter
How did the recruiter contact you?
May I ask what questions you got out from the interviews?
