Summer 2021 RE Internships
Hey guys - anyone know when funds like Brookfield, Carlyle group, lone star funds etc begin recruiting? I'm a sophomore now looking to get into REPE starting with an internship next summer
Brookfield recruits late around Nov for its Brookfield Properties arm (note: not the same as working for its opportunistic fund) and return offers are very low, Carlyle doesnt recruit out of undergrad for its real estate arm, and Lone Star only has an internship with its Hudson Advisors arm (asset management) that recruits around Oct/Nov I think.
thanks for the info. I'm putting together a list of places to apply (the timelines are all totally different so I'm having a bit of trouble) any RE PE Summer gigs you'd recommend outside of the obvious (blackstone, starwood, ares etc)
There is a few other threads on this but I believe Starwood already started interviews and Blackstone is usually close behind (I think they are interviewing as well).
Also interested. In the same position... Any recommendations are appreciated.
Starwood, KKR, Blackstone, Ares, and im sure others as well have started
Morgan Stanley RE Investing started already. JP Morgan Asset Management begins in mid summer to early autumn.
MSREI application is open but nothing is reviewed until the summer.
I’d add that BX is pretty far along. Goldman’s REPIA is essentially REPE - applications open in July.
