Summer Intern 2nd round interview with JLL/HFF/Eastdil. Any interview tips/insight?
Hey guys,
I was told the interview will be with a few analysts and would be technical. Are there any specific technicals I should know if I wanted to work for one of these companies? What would be the best way to prepare for this interview. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
If you are trying to go into their brokerage/sales, the technical knowledge is pretty basic. If you are going to be doing any underwriting or debt analysis, make sure you can do a DCF, find sales and rental comps, understand cap. rates, how to do income and expenses, monthly cash flow analysis. Understand metrics like the going out cap rate, PPU, PPSF, and Debt Service Coverage Ratio
