Test Scores for REPE?

Does anyone know if MF/UMM REPE firms are hardos about post-MBA GMAT scores the same way typical PE firms are? I’m not one of those MF/UMM or bust guys, but I’m hoping to not drop out of contention right off the bat.

I’m trying to see if it’s worth it for me to retake vs just networking. I did really shitty (just under 700, yes I know it’s low) going to school at a top 10 bschool. Not URM or anything, the rest of my profile was strong.

I can't speak for the MF/UMM REPE firms directly (as I don't work for one), but I can tell you that all your MBA hardo compatriots are putting GMAT scores on resumes from time to time.

Personally, I couldn't care less when I was reviewing a resume and would never ask, but people have gotten in the habit of showing them off. For GPAs, if I don't see one I assume its not great (just reality). I wouldn't think the same of GMAT, but in this hyper competitive world, I wouldn't be surprised if some firms take a similar mental attitude.

TL;DR - Whether they require or not is isn't the issue, it's whether people applying are disclosing.
