RE Mergers are really just A + B = C.
 

There will be some cost synergies (eg people will be fired) on the accounting side, fundraising side, other back office functions, etc. But other than that, business will go on as usual. Ares as a higher AUM & more fees. Black creek executives get some liquidity, better access to capital, maybe some IT infrastructure benefits. ZzZzzZ

RE mergers are boring... speaking from experience

 

How do these mergers generally work? Do they continue to operate as separate entities or do they combine teams and offices?
